Acceptance Letter

I got my acceptence letter, the imperative information that I retained from the letter is that I will be in Richmond, B.C on March 20, 2012 for a conference. Then I will be at the Vancouver International Airport at 10.00 for orientation then at 15.10 on March 21, 2012 I will be boarding the plane to arrive in Tokyo Narita by 17.40 on March 22, 2012,  approximately 10 hours and 30 minutes. I can't believe I am leaving the country on my own in a few short months and it will be my first time on an airplane.

I am just waiting for my Certificate of Eligibility, then I will have to go to Calgary to the Embessy Office to apply for a Student Visa.... Oh ya my date of return is August 4, 2012

Update on Process

So if you read my other blog you will already know this.....My father believes that I will be on the plane for 10  1/2 hours......thats right 10.5 hours, and I will not be stopping in Hawaii like he originally believed.... Oh well first time flying might as well make it count. Eh?

Final Process

Hello everyone! *cough*Katrina*cough* I have found out more about the exchange program to sum it all up......
I am leaving on March 22, 2012 for 5 months. My "entry" point is Sarita, Tokyo, Japan.
I just finished 3 pages of forms for the Government of Japan.
Whence I receive my official acceptance letter in a week or so, I shall begin the process of applying for a student visa. Then it is smooth sailing from there....In other words need to get Luggage(grandmother is buying for my Christmas present) luggage tags, and so on so forth.

First Post

I got accepted to go to Japan. I'm so excited.  Now I have just a few more things to do but that will not come till later, around next week. I am so excited, I can't wait!
